Archeopark Val Senales

At the Archeo Parc hands-on museum with its open-air site in Madonna Senales, you will find out all there is to know about Ötzi the Iceman and the way of life he and his contemporaries followed during the Neolithic Period. The museum clearly shows what life was like 5,300 years ago using three floors of multimedia exhibits, including films, dioramas, display boards and much more. On the open-air site, visitors can see three reconstructions of Stone-Age huts, where various activities are also on offer every day, such as archery or pottery-making. In addition, Archeopark offers a direct look into the site in Hauslabjoch where Ötzi was discovered, close to the Similaun mountain hut, which can be reached by hiking across the glacier Val Senales.
